Zorba meets Sysop

Over to Ilias with all the details on today's lunch exploits ... it's all Greek to me!

The major question is.. are we going for the £4.95 + drink or the £6.50 (includes a starter) + drink?

Hey Ilias be careful ... that could scare off potential lunchers! Good thing Tim is so far away.

I wonder if there is a τρίτη επιλογή ("third option", for non Greek speakers) - starter+drink (=no main course).

Didn't know you speak Greek Richard! Well done.

The Gorv's Zorba Report for Karin.

Food was good - quite a large selection. Little bit expensive - £6.50 for two courses so with a drink it came to £8.00 each.

The Gorv had: Houmous (v)
A tasty dip of chick peas, garlic & tahini, served with hot pitta bread

and

Red Mullet Fillets - with chips and salad.

Both very nice ... but not as good value as some places where you can get 2 (or even 3) courses for around £5.00.

Definitely worth another visit - not sure I'd go for two courses though.

Last thing - the decor was a bit naff/tacky/OTT.

Very good summary Gorv.

Thank you for that. Would that something to do with your great writing style?

Anyway, I might give it a go next time.

Where are you going tomorrow?

Tomorrow is another day!

Too early to guess now ... but I would imagine all options are open!

Where do YOU fancy? Oriental Views?

I don't know now. It's kind of hard to decide on full stomach.

But maybe one day we should make it a challenge to decide on the following day.
