I'm up for lunch, dont't mind what time. I hear DNA is really good and that the service ain't bad either. (knowing my luck it'll be her day off!) I also want to go to the bank so the DNA end of town definately suits me. Actually, I might want chinky chonky, Oriental Views? You guys decide, your the experts!
Let's wait till 1pm, that way Tim can come if he's coming. Also, Laura should know by then if she's has too go meet the old man. PS, what the f**k is Miss Nagle talking about!
Well, how was the DNA experience? And what of the new burger bar? Has anyone sampled it yet? Look out for my piece on 'tea making' on Monday's Taste supplement...keep on blogging...
DNA was saved for tomorrow as Laura came along and prefered a Chinese (she doesn't like the hot Carribean stuff at DNA so much).
Jumbo was up to it's normal high standard and was always a potential location for the 'lap of honour'!
Try the Satay/Malaysian chicken starter or Hot and Sour soup. Main course has to be Kung Po chicken - lovely! Others had the traditional Sweet'n'Sour and Steve tried a Thai Green Curry.
And 'The Burger House - TBH' has already featured in an earlier posting!
Bit pricey for a speciality burger (£6.50 plus £2.00 for chips) but the Workers' Lunch is OK with chips and a burger for less than £5.00 (1 of 3 choices).

Does this mean we have to go for lunch at midnight? Surely that's the only time they have these days...
I can't hold out 'till midnight.

Oriental Views has been sin binned by the Uncle (it was disappointing last time).
As an alternative chinese establishment I would suggest Jumbo ... though DNA is fine with me, too.
Let the Uncle decide!
I suggest going at 12.30-ish (12.30 in the afternoon, rather than just past midnight!)
Tim has suggested 1pm as he might be out of the shoot by then, if not then we are to go without him.
Oriental Views has been bad twice now and we don't have time to give them the luxury of 3 strikes so they went into the bin by curcumstance.
I think Laura should decide by way of a posting on this glorious site!
We would love Laura to join us ... but she may be shunning the loafers in favour of 'her old man' (her words, not mine).
Still, no reason why she can't decide for us where we are going!
Over to you Laura!

Wonder if Sam's watching us today?
OK as we've had no GlenNclusion from the suggested party we'll have to go with satisfying Steve's needs instead.
So, GLENnCLUSION: 1pm DNA.
Oh and DNA has had one strike, last time but they did make up for it with the Cylon-based serving devices.
Still a strike is a strike, they'd better hold their end up today.
I still have to go twice more anyway to get my freebie, so they can have two more strike attempts.

Aha - the roving reporter returns!

All good stuff!
